Health & Safety Officer

Mythen Construction Ltd. are a well-established and successful Building Contractor in the South-East, working on a range of construction projects.

We are seeking to recruit the following person: Health & Safety Officer

The duties of this role are as follows:
Carry out Site Safety Audits
Advise site management on Health & Safety (Rules & Regulations)
Co-ordinate training of site safety for staff
Report to Contracts Manger
Carry out risks assessments as required
Review & assist in producing method statements as required
Hold regular site safety meetings with all sub-contractors
Monitor all Health & Safety activities on sites and report findings to the contracts manager
Monitor subcontractors on site to ensure that their work activities are coordinated to ensure the safety of all persons on site.

The Ideal candidate will:
Have 2+ years’ experience in a construction environment
Excellent communication skills both written & Verbal, & strong interpersonal skills
