Key responsibilities

Menus & Budgets: Assist Head Chef in the development of menus & control food costs & waste. Food preparation: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with preparing, cooking, and packing lunch for distribution. Kitchen organization: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with keeping the kitchen organized and tidy and ensure produce matches orders. Cleaning and maintenance: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with cleaning stations and disposing of expired food. Learning and development: Support Head Chef in managing team & assist with communicating kitchen responsibilities, developing chef teams skills, and improving culinary knowledge amongst the team. Other duties: Work with all departments on communicating & following company policies. Health and safety: Ensure food is handled and prepared safely and comply with health and hygiene regulations. Have HACCP Food Safety Certification & knowledge is required and excellent hygiene standards. Communication: Interact with all departments and Managers to ensure effective running of production. Experience: Have a background in a CPU or busy kitchen environment focusing on a high standard. Individual: Be able to manage a team of people while also being self-driven to achieve company KPIs.
