We are hiring a Oncology Nurse for a Private Hospital in Cork, Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are at the center of all we do.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsibility for providing nursing care to assigned patients during each shift.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of patient care requires constant collaboration with the nursing team and assistance from colleagues as needed.
  • Work well together as a team of experts from different backgrounds to accomplish shared objectives
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to appropriate personnel, consistent with professional and legal guidelines and departmental standards.
  • Maintains clear communications with the Nurse Manager regarding unit needs and incidents.


Requirements
  • Enrolled in the General Division of the NMBI's live nurse registry
  • An oncology nursing course or something similar is a clear benefit.
  • Two years or more as a staff nurse in an acute general hospital, with at least one of those years spent in an acute oncology unit
  • Proficiency in chemotherapy is preferred
