This role may be available part-time or full time.

About the Reserving Actuary role

Duties for this Reserving Actuary Role role include (but are not limited to):

Analysing business performance along with trends and developments in the business. Collaborate in the calculation of reserves and reserve reviews across all Irish lines of business. Develop and enhance reserving and reporting tools and processes. Prepare and discuss key reserving financials with local and European management. Guide and support team members.

Actuarial skills required

Our client is looking to find a Qualified/Nearly Qualified Actuary with experience working in the general insurance industry. Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:

Strong written, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.  A logical, methodical and systematic approach to work with great time keeping skills. Strong knowledge of Excel, VBA, Access, Word, PowerPoint and other Software’s. Ability to grow and maintain business relationships both internally and externally. Self motivated with great problem solving abilities.
