The
Address Citywest Hotel is currently looking for Food & Beverage Assistant
to join our Team. You will be serving and
assisting guests and customers, whilst also ensuring that the highest standard
of customer service is maintained at all times.

Position: Food and Beverage Assistant



 



Reporting to: Restaurant and Bar Manager



 



Key Duties of this role (although below
list is not exhaustive):



•           Restaurant
standards of service and preparation are adhered to at all times.



•           Be
knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus.



•           Taking food and drink orders and
fulfilling the customers' requests accurately and efficiently.



•           To
actively upsell throughout all aspects of customer service.



•           At
all times conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner.



•           Ensure
customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience with us.



•           Manager/Supervisor
to be informed of special requirements or difficulties.



•           Responsible
for own station, replenishment of crockery, cutlery etc.



•           To
read, understand and comply with your responsibilities as defined in the Health
and Safety statement and Staff Handbook.



•           Thorough
deep cleansing of the Restaurant and surrounds as required. – Any other
reasonable duty as requested by management.



•           To
ensure HACCP, cleaning schedules are completed on a daily basis and standards
maintained.



•           To
actively participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to
improve standards and performance levels.



•           To
carry out the hotel’s customer relation policy.



•           To
communicate hotel services to guests as required.



•           To
receive customer complaints in a courteous and sympathetic fashion and to
report to your manager immediately.



•           To
arrive for duty in accordance with rostered times in full clean uniform and
wearing name badge at all times.



•           To
ensure the highest standards in personal hygiene and grooming.



•           To
take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of food)



•           Prepare
and serve beverages following the recipes as well as any food items



•           Check
if equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs to the Manager
on Duty.



 



•           Contribute to the hotel standards and
delivery of customer service by sharing new ideas and suggestions for
improvements; being innovative and creative to provide quality service and
guest care.



 



The Candidate:



Minimum
of 1 years' experience working in a Restaurant or in a Food and Beverage assistant
position or customer service environment. Fluent English and excellent
communication skills.
