Carraig Donn is 100% Irish owned and operated. We currently employ over 500 people across our Head Office and retail stores with 40 branches nationwide. Our central warehouse, buying offices, dispatch center and e-commerce operations are all conducted from our home on the Lodge Road, Westport, Co. Mayo. With buying offices also located in Ennis, and Dublin. Carraig Donn is continuing to grow year on year, with an exciting 10-year expansion plan.


The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Department as a Graphic Designer. We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role holder will report to the Head of Marketing and eCommerce and work with the wider marketing team in assisting with marketing campaigns across 40 stores and www.carraigdonn.com.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Working in conjunction with the Snr Graphic Designer you will provide graphic design services for Carraig Donn's online and offline marketing channels
  • This will involve producing engaging visual assets (in both static and motion formats) for web banners, ezines, social media, POS, flyers and more
  • Manage and schedule weekly content on TV screens & Window Digital Screens
  • Assist in the creation of content to support Carraig Donn's digital strategy.
  • Work closely with the team to create engaging graphics for a variety of projects.
  • Ability to follow direction, meet company brand guidelines and assist with any other graphics requirements that may arise due to the nature of a fast-paced environment.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field required
  • Must have a portfolio demonstrating print and digital body of work
  • Excel in the use of Adobe Creative Suite: In-Design, Illustrator
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability and communication skills to co-ordinate a large number of small projects at the same time.
  • Problem solving capability, solution provider and strong attention to detail
  • The role holder will need to understand the need for high quality brand representation
  • Passion for retail and a strong interest in fashion, jewellery and homeware is a plus.

  

Role will be 40-hour week, full-time. The role is based in Carraig Donn's Head Office in Westport.
