Responsibilities for each area of focus include 

Develop and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders within the client’s organisation.Forecast, plan, track and manage the project(s), ensuring delivery is on schedule and within budget as agreed with the clients and Entegro.Ensure Client & Sub-contractors PO’s are in place to cover works scheduled.Ensure the design teams under your remit deliver quality, on-time, and accurate designs to the client and our build teams.Represent your team and Entegro at client meetings, providing updates and clarifications in support of the client programmes.
Support the day-to-day management and task prioritisation of the FTTP design teams.Manage escalations and take ownership of issues arising from the design teamsAnalyse programme and project performance and create remediation plans where necessary to ensure on-time and on-track delivery.Support the development of team members through the creation of training plans, annual objectives, and succession plans for the team.Ensure the team follow Entegro HR policies and working with HR to deal with any non-compliance arising.Work with the HSEQ team to ensure compliance with customer technical and safety standards.

Key skills and experience

Essential

A degree qualification in Electronic Engineering/Data communications/Networks or a similar technical field.A minimum of 3 years in a similar position leading a team.Ability to multitask and adapt to change.A drive to work to a high standard to meet and exceed client expectation.An analytical, detail-oriented approach to work.A willingness to learn and develop skillsGood command of written and spoken English.Excellent written communication skills

Advantageous

Telecommunications experience, particularly of fibre technologies (FTTx).Proficiency with FME, QGIS, or the ArcGIS suite of applications.GE Smallworld or AutoCAD experience.
