Infineon is a leader in automotive semiconductor innovation. We are building a new team in Cork to work on our Automotive Programmable System on a Chip (PSoC) products for applications in battery management, smart sensing, and human machine interfaces (HMI). We are looking for applications from candidates with analog design, digital design, digital verification, mixed signal verification, chip level integration, project management and ISO safety requirements experience. In this group you will be part of a small, agile team working together on taking customer requirements and implementing them into the next generation of Infineon automotive products. This team will work closely with and complement our existing experienced PSoC teams in the US, Japan and India. We are seeking ambitious, talented engineers who want to join our dynamic and experienced PSoC group and take their technical knowledge to the next level and be part of the next wave of PSoC development in Infineon.On this new role, you will have complete control over your career growth, as we believe in providing limitless opportunities for our employees. In addition to the above, your responsibilities will include:
Actively participate in definition of Verification infrastructure including test bench components, testcases which are scalable and portable across various projects and platforms; Define verification strategy (constraint random, formal, directed etc.) for digital or mixed-signal IP/Subsystem and SoC verification; Work in different verification methodologies including but not limited to UVM , OVM , SV based test benches; Identify, document and execute test plans on verification platforms, develop and debug random constrain verification test suite to fully verify the design under test; Actively participate in cross functional collaboration with design teams to ensure a successful product delivery; Work with post-Silicon teams to bring up and assist in validation testing. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a strong initiative to seek constant improvements in the verification methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and multitask.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
A University Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field; At least 5 years of professional experience; Solid understanding of verification methodologies including UVM , OVM , System Verilog ; Experience in developing verification infrastructure for complex digital or mixed-signal IPs/Sub-systems or SoCs including development of test cases, scoreboard, System Verilog Assertions; Basic knowledge of digital and/or mixed-signal design ; Knowledge of protocols such as AHB, AMBA, AXI, SPI, LIN, UART etc. are highly desirable; Familiarity with functional coverage, code coverage, other coverage metrics; Good understanding of power aware verification using UPF and Gate level simulation; Knowledge of C, python, tcl, Perl etc. for developing test content and scripts; Knowledge of Automotive Functional safety concepts, ISO 26262 qualification experience is a plus; Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
