Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced paralegal, to join the Autodesk Marketing Legal team whose focus is to provide legal solutions to help enable the Global Worldwide Marketing organization achieve its strategic goals. Collaborating with your colleagues in Marketing Legal, the wider Autodesk Legal team, and Autodesk business teams you will also guide the team’s information sharing, knowledge-management and collaboration tools. You will be comfortable in and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement. You will have an interest in the world of design and make around you so that you can relate to Autodesk customers needs and outcomes.

You will report to the Director, Senior Corporate Counsel Marketing & Advertising who is based in London, UK. This position is hybrid, working within a commutable distance to Boston, SF, Dublin, or London offices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with attorneys and business teams in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to vendors and marketing initiatives, such as advertising agreements, influencer partnerships , sponsorships and license agreements

Collaborate on the review of marketing materials, including advertisements, social media content, website content, and promotional materials

Provide support in organizing and executing contests and sweepstakes, including drafting official rules, reviewing entry requirements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Assist in legal aspects of event planning and execution, such as negotiating talent agreements, venue agreements, vendor contracts, and insurance requirements

Manage templates and existing knowledge resources and contribute to information sharing, knowledge management and collaboration tools

Proactively partner with the Autodesk Legal Operations team and other members of the Autodesk Legal team to learn and apply best practices for information sharing, knowledge-management, and collaboration tools

Support interactions with colleagues, such as communications, development of presentation materials, and meeting planning

Minimum Qualifications

2-4 years' experience as a Paralegal in the area of Marketing and Advertising (with at least 2 years at a law firm preferred)

Experience supporting brand, intellectual property, advertising, marketing teams and negotiating marketing related contracts

Familiarity with marketing and advertising laws and regulations, intellectual property and privacy and SaaS, and marketing related contracts

Excellent written and oral communication skills. You are organized and detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and project management skills

You are tech-savvy, with the desire and ability to master databases, collaboration tools, and knowledge-management tools

You approach challenges with energy and a positive attitude

You are comfortable interacting with everyone from the senior executives to interns, recognizing that you don’t know everything and can learn from anyone

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $80,600 and $139,150. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
