Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you To operate company vehicles up to the limitations of a C + C1 license in a safe and competent manner. Be familiar with all aspects of road traffic legislation and tachograph use Carrying out manual tasks involved with the loading and unloading of equipment from vehicles Identify and quantify company materials involved in deliveries and collections To ensure that accurate records are maintained for the vehicles. Daily check sheets, tyres and fluid levels, digital tachograph records, delivery/collection notes etc. Assist in yard duties when not involved in driving which may involve loading and unloading of company and customer vehicles, stock management, and order picking Full compliance with driving hours and other current transport regulations Communication with office, depot staff and client PART 4: Person Specification Experience and Qualifications A full C + C1 and up to date CPC cert an advantage Skills & Competencies (evidence of)
Technical Manual Handling knowledge Good knowledge of the road systems of Ireland including townlands Interpersonal Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills required Personal Must be able to read, write and speak English to a high level Must be flexible with regards to working days and hours Ability to work under pressure Work on their own initiative Flexibility in line with business requirements Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times
