Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, ensuring floors are free from debris and spillages at all times.
- Follow direction from chefs as required, providing support during service.
- Conduct deep cleans of the kitchen according to the established cleaning schedule.
- Operate the dishwashing machine, ensuring a steady supply of clean crockery, cutlery, and kitchenware.
- Handle heavy-duty pot wash and assist with putting away deliveries and properly storing stock.
- Manage food waste, regularly changing bins, and ensuring kitchen equipment is in working order.
- Adhere to all food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a catering or busy kitchen environment preferred.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A personable demeanour and professional presentation.
- Experience with cleaning systems and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Ability to adapt to new environments, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Must have valid work permits to work in Ireland with no restrictions.
Work Schedule: This role requires flexibility, with shifts including evenings and weekends.
