MCMA Healthcare is a leading provider of agency staff to prominent Health and Social Care providers. We specialise in the provision of agency Social Care staff to Mainstream Services working with young people, High Support and Special Care Services as well as Disability Residential Care & Day Services. We pride ourselves in supporting our staff to work in interesting and challenging environments nationwide.
Roles & Responsibilities
Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each young person within the service
Participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans
Promoting physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each young person
Liaising with professionals in relation to the care of young persons
Adhering to policies and procedures
Documentation and report writing
Qualification
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or a similar discipline) - all 8 modules are required
Candidates must have:
Ideally a commitment to 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts per week (12 hour per shift)
Client focus, compassion and empathy are essential to the role
Team work as well as flexibility and the ability to work off one's own initiative

Available shift patterns: days (10am - 10pm) & nights (10pm - 10am)
