B2 Engineer

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ireland Ltd have an exciting opportunity within our team for a B2 Engineer based at Hangar 5, Shannon Airport. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic team of highly skilled staff and play an essential part in safely maintaining a fleet of over 500 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines. • Ensuring that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Regulatory Authorities, the company MOE, Procedures and individual Personal Authorisation Certificates.
• Ensuring aircraft documentation is completed and certified in accordance with the MOE and company procedures.
• Lead assigned team and ensure that all company regulations, HR policies & procedures and safe working practices are followed by their team.
• Ensuring that the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to and that a safe and clean working environment is maintained, at all times.
• Responsible for effective utilization and improved efficiency of staff under their supervision.
• Carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by the Check Supervisor.

Requirements

• Must hold an unrestricted EASA B2 Licence, preferably with type rating on Boeing 737-800.
• Previous certification privileges in a similar role desirable.
• Experience leading a team of Aircraft Mechanics.
• Be self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision.
• Excellent spoken & written English is essential.
• Flexible approach to working in fast changing environment
• Strong computer literacy
• Willing to work shift
• Candidates must have unrestricted permission to work in Ireland
