Accounting Technician - Full-time, permanent role

 

We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Technician to join the Finance team on a full-time basis for a permanent opportunity.

 

Duties within the role include:

1.   Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts to include detailed P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.

2.    Preparation of detailed month/week end revenue analysis reports and ad hoc revenue analysis reports and ad hoc analysis as required

3.   Assist the Financial Accountant in preparing the annual budget to include detailed P&L analysis, cash flow and balance sheet

4.   Involvement in management and analysis of Capex Projects as required

5.   Produce reports on detailed KPI's to support Hospital managers with effective and cost efficient running of departments

6.   Assist Finance Managers in identifying and implementing process improvements

Candidate Requirements:

1.   Fully Qualified Accounting Technician (IATI) / Part-Qualified Accountant

2.   Minimum of 2 years Experience within the Finance Department of a service/industry organisation

3.   Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills

4.   Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with Advanced Excel.

5.   Crystal, or other business report writing experience preferable

6.   Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

7.   Ability to multi-task on key projects as required
