Apprentice Electrician

Rockwell are hiring Apprentice Electricians to join our team in Longford.

About the Role

Reporting to the Electrical Project Director, you will work on and contribute to our key projects. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced Electricians and Instrumentation teams onsite to learn and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on project sites
• Perform electrical installations under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Gain hands-on experience in working with a variety of electrical tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Installing equipment
• Field wiring & panel terminations.
• Cable Containment.
• Control Panel installation (Form 4).
• Commissioning & testing support and learning
• Maintain a safety standards and adhering to site rules at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum of five passes at leaving certificate level (must include Mathematics and English)
• Successfully pass the Ishihara Colour Vision Test
• Valid Safe Pass/Manual Handling certificate
• No experience necessary but have a keen interest in engineering, electrical systems
• Willingness to commute around the Midlands region.
