About the Role

As a Product Manager at Uniphar, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our patient centric product lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, capable of driving product innovation and growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies that align with our business goals. Your responsibilities will span from conducting in-depth market research and analysis to developing product roadmaps and overseeing the product development lifecycle. You will be instrumental in prioritizing features, managing product backlogs, and ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and user satisfaction.

The Product Manager will function as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the product development process. You will gather and analyse customer feedback, track industry trends, and leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Post-launch, you will be responsible for measuring product performance, identifying areas for improvement, and iterating on products to enhance user experience and achieve business objectives. This role requires an initiative-taking, customer-centric mindset, with a passion for creating products that deliver significant value to our customers and drive business success.

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

Product Development:

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Prioritize features and manage the product backlog.
  • Input into the product development lifecycle from conception to launch.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Function as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and decisions.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
  • Communicate product updates and progress to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct user research and analyse data to understand customer needs and behaviours.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.

Performance Measurement:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Conduct post-launch evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Iterate on products based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management or a related role.
  • Proven record of managing the entire product lifecycle.
  • Experience in [industry or specific domain] is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in product management tools such as ADO, JIRS, Trello, or similar.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks. Also knowledge of waterfall methodologies is an advantage.
