Job Description:
We are in search of a Senior Network II Engineer with hands-on expertise to join our team. In this role, you'll assist with implementing and managing intricate network infrastructure that aligns with our business needs.
You'll work closely with diverse teams to craft scalable, dependable network solutions, guaranteeing top-notch performance, security, and uptime. Your primary focus will be on hands-on tasks, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing best practices for optimal network performance and efficiency.
Key job responsibilities/duties include:
Implementation of scalable and reliable network architectures to meet the organization's business needs.
Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of network engineers.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Coordinate and prioritize tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software components.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
Conduct regular performance analysis and implement optimizations to ensure optimal network performance.
Implement and enforce security measures to protect the organization's network infrastructure.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and ensure network compliance with relevant
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address networking requirements for various projects.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and reports on network performance and projects.
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.
Limited travel may be required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in network engineering, with a focus on implementation and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security standards including Firewalls, DMVPN and Advanced routing.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
