Jensen Hughes have a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Fire engineer to join our market leading Ireland team and help us drive excellence across our projects and deliver world class life safety solutions to our diverse client base in 2024 Our Galway and Cork team have had a record-breaking year with some truly impressive successes to shout about, now is a great time to join us. This role can be located anywhere in Ireland on a remote basis.

Preparing fire strategies for a wide range of buildings using ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS7974, HTM Guidance and BB100 among other documents.Take a lead on Technical projectsManage medium/large size projects including fee proposals and invoicing.Be the expert to our clients and that all important first point of call.Lead discussion with design team, building control and fire service.Attend industry conferences to Network and embrace industry trends and best practicesSupervise and train graduate engineers.Requirements and Qualifications
A background in fire engineering preferably within a consultancy environmentA bachelor’s degree or higher within Fire engineeringIdeally working towards becoming a Chartered engineerThe right to work in Ireland The ability to undertake works independentlyThe ability and desire to mentor and manage our young professionals#LI-
