Role

We are currently seeking to hire a Tax Advisory Manager / Senior Associate for a permanent opportunity, based in our Cork office (hybrid).

Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients and lead the delivery of high quality commercial tax advice and service to those clients; Deliver tax insights that help business leaders to make confident business decisions; Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; Researching and resolving technical queries from clients; Liaising with Revenue Commissioners; Liaising with directors and partners, as well as other professionals including Audit, IES and Transaction Services; Manage a team of tax professionals ; Coach and mentor more junior tax professionals; Participation in the delivery of training courses to staff; Contribute to market and business development activities; General administration, including working capital management.
We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:
An accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA) and membership of the Irish Taxation Institute; Strong technical knowledge of tax; Big 4 experience would be desirable, but not essential At least four years in a professional tax environment - some of this experience will need to have been in Ireland due to the nature of this job, and include some time at manager grade or equivalent if applying for the Manager role; Excellent team leading, interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
