As the industry leader in water technology, we’re growing and need talented people like you to help us continue to protect the world’s most vital resource. Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join its industry leading sales team.

You’ll be responsible for revenue and profit growth in select targeted accounts. A major focus of this role will include project planning, and execution of all work within a designated customer site. With a consultative approach, you’ll build relationships with existing customers by understanding their key business drivers and executing system assurance programs. With strong account leadership, you’ll also support the site service team and implementation of new technologies to current customers.

What You Will Do:  

Lead INNOVATION and VALUE to meet customers contract requirements

Support site Operations with a growth mindset

Work closely with the customer to understand their business needs, recommending continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales

Develop and execute sales plan to meet growth goals

Generate and improve processes/procedures for planned and corrective equipment maintenance

Accurately document/complete invoicing for work completed & products provided

Innovate to reduce cost and Improve GM in Customer accounts

Support Service Representatives with start-ups of new applications

Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required. 

Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships

Conduct regular reviews of processes and equipment to improve safety practices

Location Information:

This position will be based in the Dublin area, supporting one existing account (Based on-site)

Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Engineering

Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Physical Demands:  

Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations and hot conditions. 

Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talk and hear; 

Preferred Qualifications:   

Technical sales or field sales experience

Water treatment experience

Experience with and knowledge of adiabatic cooling systems

Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
