Job Description

Chubb now has an opportunity for a CAD Operator  in Cork on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel into Europe. The main goal of this role is to ensure the system designs are produced to a high quality and within the required budget and timescale.

Responsibiities include -

System design of large scale integrated electronic security systems (PIDS, CCTV, EAC, IDS, and audio systems) Design responsibility throughout the project life. Preparation of technical documentation and drawings. Coordination and review of the design deliverables. Ensure compliance with technical specifications. Generation of acceptance test documentation. Review meetings with client. Coordination meetings with external subcontractors within multi-discipline design team. Review the progress of each site with Design Team.

Qualifications

A good understanding of AutoCAD Minimum of a degree or HND in Architecture, Design or Engineering. Design in engineering environment (Electrical, Control and Instrumentation). Technical design experience and the preparation of technical documentation and drawings. Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office software (must include Microsoft Word and Excel).
