Purpose Statement

 

 

The successful candidate will part of a team that tests products for release and customer use from Boston Scientific. The role will also involve conducting analytical testing on validation, commercial, and non-routine samples. They are responsible for ensuring that all testing is carried out in accordance with cGMP.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support of the Equipment Engineering team in the qualification of analytical test equipment.
  • Support the day to day running of the lab.
  • Raw material, in-process and finished product testing.
  • Ensure all analytical testing is carried out as defined in the Quality System.
  • Support the training of new lab personnel on Test Methods and GLP.
  • Perform equipment calibration and qualification as required.
  • Ensure appropriate stocks of chemicals and consumables is maintained in the chemistry laboratory at all times.
  • Peer to peer review in a timely manner.
  • Adherence to Data integrity on site at all times.
  • Adherence to Safety policies on site at all times.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and to form strong working relationships with colleagues.
  • Work on own initiative and be capable of developing solutions to problems as part of a team.
  • Willing to operate in a flexible manner and be able to switch priorities at short notice.
  • Train to Boston Scientific’s Quality system documentation e.g. Change Control and Analytical Test Method Validation etc.
  • Create, review and approve change requests as required.
  • Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements and ensure that your training records are up to date and compliant to cGMP.
  • Willingness to travel when required.

 

Requirements

 

  • Level 6 qualification in Chemistry or related discipline.
  • Ideally 1 years work experience within a GMP environment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong Team Player and excellent collaborator
