Purpose
The NBS Sales Representative’s role is to proactively manage customer relationships, manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals in a way that meets customer needs and maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.
NBS - New Business Solutions (Lifts)
Ideal location is Dublin based with knowledge of main Contractors, M&E & Architectural practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer relationship management
First point of contact for customer sales enquiriesProactively contacts customers for early engagement and develops and creates customer relationships in their area of responsibilityCreates and develops sales strategies to enhance business growthAnalyses, evaluates, and assesses sales territories for own products or servicesIn early phases of projects, drives consultative selling with architects and developers, consultants, or other influencers to ensure KONE solutions are meeting customer’s needs and creating value throughout the lifecycleDevelops and grows KONE position in their customer base or market areaCreates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g., cross-selling)Ensures customer satisfaction and solves complaints with the rest of KONE teamDocuments the customer and contact information, responsible for customer and contact data in CRMSell
Generates leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targetsFinds customer needs and designs solution to meet themIs accountable for setting optimal market pricing for each solutionRequests technical know-how from Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) in tendering phase in non-standard cases and according to local policyArranges pre-tender, pre-booking reviews and ensures Sales-to Engineering handover with complete and correct informationEnsures the importance of site readiness communicated to customer and included in the contractValidates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality and safetyIs accountable for the project until orders received in line with KONE absolutesMaintains full information of opportunities, tasks, and visitsResponsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the fieldResponsible for timely and accurate reportingSupports the finance function in money collectionDriving execution of individual sales plan including proactive / consultative sales customer visits has context menuKey experiences & skills:
Proven experience in salesIndustry, building trade, engineering sales experience is desirable Customer mind-centricGood knowledge of contractual and financial termsAbility to build rapport and collaborate with others within KONE and externallyGood communication skills in both written & spoken EnglishManaging and resolving any queriesGood in MS Office and ExcelSAP, CRM, Salesforce experience is desirableNEB – New Equipment Business (Lifts)
