Pulmonary Administrator - Clerical Officer - Grade III - Permanent - 20 Hours

 

Applications are invited for the position of Clerical Officer - Grade III in the Pulmonary Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the clinical team, ensuring the highest standards of patient contact, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our healthcare services. Essential Criteria

The post holder must hold:

  • Experience within a patient focused hospital environment an advantage
  • Familiarity with working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrable computer skills
  • Have strong patient focus and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to understand and process complex patient information ensuring accurate

         attention to detail.

  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Possess the minimum qualification equivalent to QQI level 5 in health service skills or FETAC level 5 in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support/ Administration.
  • Consideration may be given to candidates who have commenced and are at an advanced stage of the FETAC 5/ QQI qualification 


Desirable Criteria

  • Have good communication skills as the post involves a great deal of contact with patients and with other colleagues
  • Have ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to adjust to changes as patients and service requirements demand
