Tax Senior / Assistant Manager – PKF Waterford

An exciting position has arisen for a Tax Senior / Assistant Manager . This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing tax department with ambitious growth plans. This role will be based in our new Waterford office.
Working directly with the Tax Director, the role will offer the right candidate the chance to develop their tax knowledge, and work on projects and advisory assignments.
As a key member of the newly established Waterford tax team, you will support the Firm’s Partners and Directors in building business for the Firm, leading and managing assignments won and developing and managing teams.
What you will be doing:
You can expect to be a key member of our tax team providing the following services:
Manage the provision, production, and review of corporate tax services to a challenging and varied client portfolio of companies including clients involved in international trade, renewable energy, aircraft leasing, retail industry and high net worth private clients. Advising on Irish domestic and international corporate tax matters. Develop and maintain business relationships and market profile, both in the wider market and through our international networks. Liaise with other teams in the audit / business services on tax related matters. Develop your own career. You are AITI / CTA qualified (or equivalent). You have between 0 and 2 years post qualification taxation experience. Ability to manage and develop junior members of the team. Excellent organisational and planning capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent project management skills with commitment to meet tight deadlines. Commercially astute with strong business acumen. Effective communication skills, including report writing. Ability to work both on your own initiative and within a team environment.What we offer:
