Chef Manager

Location: St Augustine's, Taylors lane, Ballyboden, Dublin


As a Chef Manager at Sodexo Dublin, you will oversee the management and maintenance of catering, cleaning, and handyman services across multiple sites. Reporting to the Line Manager, you will ensure that service delivery meets performance, quality, and financial targets while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct spot checks on both sites to ensure compliance with service and equipment standards.

• Manage all day-to-day operations including scheduling, payroll, and training.

• Ensure adherence to statutory and company health & safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

• Respond to customer and client queries, handle complaints, and manage service quality.

• Oversee bookkeeping, stock takes, and report any incidents or equipment issues.


What you bring:

• Proven experience in food, cleaning, and caring services with strong team management skills.

• Good understanding of budget management and industry standards.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in maintaining compliance with statutory regulations.

• NVQ Level 2, IOSH, and CIEH qualifications are desirable.

• Relevant IT systems knowledge.
