Bodyshop Engineer

Dawsongroup tcs offers temperature control solutions for businesses across a range of industry sectors.

We are recruiting for a Bodyshop Engineer for our tcs site in Naas.

The Bodyshop Engineer is responsible for bench joinery and bodywork repairs and maintenance to the hire fleet equipment.

You will be based at Naas Co Kildare, but you may be required to work at other locations which are within reasonable travelling distance of where you are based.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00.

As the Bodyshop Engineer, you will be responsible for:

 Carry out authorised repairs to our fleet working from a job sheet to an agreed dead line. This will include the use of a range of power and hand tools. Carry out site joinery to include constructing studded walls, door frames, apertures etc too a required measurements and locations. Cleaning units internally and externally, in preparation for painting or sanding.  Ensure all tooling and machinery is in a safe and working condition. Report any unsafe tools or machinery to your supervisor Co-operate fully with the operations manager to ensure equipment is made ready for rental in good time. Cleaning tools ,de masking and replacing ancillary parts.  Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely and professional manner including stock usage. Other duties and special projects as required.

The successful Bodyshop Fitter will hold:

Leaving Cert or Equivalent Three years experience in a bodyshop role
