Summary:

 

We are a rapidly growing IT team responsible for supporting and implementing IT systems and Infrastructure across the EMEA region. Reporting to the regional IT Director, this Senior Management position will establish the IT organisation, the IT systems, and the IT operations for the new Ireland manufacturing facility for Dexcom.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible as the IT lead for the new greenfield site in Athenry. Accountable for all aspects of IT for the site including infrastructure design & setup, Manufacturing applications and the processes to ensure compliance of IT specification such as structure cabling, fiber, IT rooms and power supply and so on. Collaborate with Global IT to implement Global IT Standards within the site, including Infrastructure, PMO & InfoSec. Work with the IT Leadership team on annual budgeting cycles and strategic planning. Responsible for the IT systems on site including Manufacturing execution and IT electronic control systems. Working with HR on hiring plan for IT asset & accessories purchase to support new employee onboarding. Deployment of IT systems including network, servers, UPS and other to enable Dexcom network for employees. Creating and maintaining Development Plans for the team Taking ownership for the overall delivery of IT services, local project delivery and managing employee communication during project activities, and service situations. Ensuring local employee needs and desired outcomes are fully understood so that products and services can be prioritized appropriately. Liaising with 3rd parties on behalf of the IT Team. Ensuring that customer expectation is aligned with the services and products to be delivered by the EMEA/Global IT teams. Contributes to the strategic application roadmap with annual portfolio planning updates and budget submission, contributing to the overall manufacturing and IT strategic plans.  Providing regular and accurate management reporting. Identifying opportunities for optimization and growth. Presenting to customers on several levels from end users to business executives. Working with customers and other internal teams to develop IT roadmaps in line with our client’s current and future business requirements.

Experience with MES systems, Siemens OpsCenter/Camstar preferred, as well as integration with manufacturing equipment (OPC UA), Ignition/SCADA, Oracle ERP, PLM, MS SQL, and OSI PI. Relevant experience of ERP (Oracle), MES (Camstar) and IT solutions to support IQ/OQ/PQ and ISO audit. Experience of supporting the ISO, ISO: and other audits for the site. Relevant work experience including but not limited to hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience; applications support, ability to read and understand technical manuals, documentation, and guides; excellent technical knowledge of desktop and server hardware and software, including all current versions of Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and PC hardware. General application support and deployment experience for multi-location systems Experience of managing teams and excellent people skills.  Fluency in English, both written and oral communication.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening skills and ability to communicate accurately and effectively in person, over the telephone, through email and other business correspondence. Proven capability to handle challenging situations, a positive attitude with passion and drive. Must be an effective trainer and team coach including advanced cross training experience.  Achieve service level goals and quality targets, managing and coaching employees to department performance standards. Provide ongoing support and guidance including taking escalation calls, supporting customer problem resolution, providing materials, and ensuring goal achievement. Implement, communicate, and interprets new and existing policies and procedure to staff members. Proven experience in leading teams, managing people, and delivering results.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree level educated and/or + years of relevant of supervisory/management experience working in multinational environment.  Computer related qualifications and certifications will be viewed favorably. Degree level educated in a computer-based discipline. Multi-lingual candidates. Covering English and one other supported language in our direct markets
