The Opportunity

Our Finance Internship provides a meaningful, professional, hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. We hire students majoring in Finance/Business into our programs based on business needs. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities. 

Abbott’s global business enables you to work in a variety of fields, which may involve a number of the following activities:

Support the RPA & RDA Program through reporting, project management, and optimizing BOT performance

Facilitate global initiatives for Master Data Governance

Accounts Payable Operational Excellence Project – Helpdesk intake, invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and divisional reporting

Support financial operations and work on ad hoc projects assigned by the manager

Support global manufacturing sites with Product Stewardship Program deliverables through data gathering and input into the Compliance Map application

Prepare procedure updates and manage change orders

Our Finance Internship Program will involve working in one of the following locations based on assignment: 

Dublin

What are we looking for?

Eligible applicants should be:

Pursuing a third level Undergraduate or Post Graduate Finance/Business Qualification.

Excellent communicators, team players and Innovators.

Passionate about STEM and interested in pursuing a career in a STEM environment.

Candidates should be striving towards a 2.1 Grade in their degree course.

Available to commence a 9 or 12 month placement in 2024.

Flexibility to be based at one of our sites around Ireland
