We are now looking to hire a Supply Chain Intern to join the team in Cork, Ireland starting next year for the duration of 6-8 months.
Who We are:
We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. We are a global organisation, situated in 15 locations across 6 countries offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR and IT. We collaborate in our fast-paced global organisation and are passionate about creating and delivering much-loved household brands to markets across the world. ResponsibilitiesRole Purpose & Primary Accountabilities: ReportingGeneration and publication of reports utilising SAP and Excel.Analysis of data output and preparation of files for order fulfilment metrics, product freshness, excess and obsolescence, dashboards, material and capacity of data feedback to meet business timelines.Production Planning and SchedulingAssist with MRP review gaining insight in how we create and release of process orders on SAP in line with production plan for all manufacturing, filling and rework orders.Material PlanningReviewing MRP signal and work with planners, suppliers and carriers driving efficient delivery of in identifying and escalating issues with end to end supply chain which will impact on customer service levels.Inventory ManagementAnalysing changes in demand signal to identify opportunity to reduce costs associated with obsolescenceGeneral managementMaintain planning master data as requiredWork cross functionally with supply chain, procurement, quality and operations to achieve operating targets and drive issue resolution.Health and safetyA requirement of the role is that you must adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety Requirements
QualificationsEssential Criteria:
Third level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline.Analytical skills, with a proven ability to problem solve and make quick decisionsExcellent communication/interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenBe capable of working effectively in a team environmentAbility to manage multiple, complex tasks, with strong attention to detailResults orientated and commitment to achieving objectives; Ability to work on own initiativeExcellent customer awareness and customer focusProficient Computer skills (MS Excel or equivalent, MS PowerPoint or equivalent)
