Job Description

We are looking for an HR Associate to support our International Benefits team that sits within our Global Benefits, Mobility and Immigration group. We are looking for candidates with experience in benefits and time-away/leave administration, operations, and overall programme management. 

You will partner with Block’s international benefits team, ensuring the sustainable and scalable delivery of benefit programmes and policies for Blocks ~20 countries outside of the US. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop benefits subject matter expertise while employing broader programme management skills to support Block’s global benefits managers. We are seeking someone who excels in an all hands-on deck environment and enjoys building. 

This is a full-time role based in Ireland or UK. From time to time, expect some hours to overlap with APAC and the US. You will report to the Head of International Benefits. 

You will:

Support the international benefits team with benefits plan management, administration, and policy delivery for Block’s existing and new entities:

Define and own end-to-end benefits programme delivery protocols for international benefits (benefits delivery/admin, stand-up, benefit updates).Support with leave of absence administration such as tracking, compliance, reporting and employee and partner team engagement.Administer benefits finances by handling benefits finances for all international benefit programmes. 

Partner with International Benefit Managers to enhance employee experience and benefits delivery through special projects. Example activities, to be carried out in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders like payroll, ops and procurement, include:

Content and knowledge managementCyclical reporting and audits HRIS set-up and management

Be a liaison or bridge between International Benefits and Benefit Ops to fine tune partnership and maximise BenOps model to grow benefits programme delivery and own transition of BenOps roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications

You have:

3+ years experience working in Global Benefits or adjacent teams within HR. Demonstrable knowledge of leave administration, HR operations, and general programme management. Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders as well as competing priorities. The ability to be adaptable and are comfortable with navigating ambiguity and changing needs. 

Even better:

Experience working in high-tech or professional services (benefits consulting, benefits operations centres); proficiency in one or more of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, and Japanese. Proficiency in the Microsoft, Google Suites and Workday.
