What does a successful Strategic Sourcing Analyst do?

Strategic Sourcing Analyst is part of a strong team of global strategic sourcing professionals at Fiserv. The Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) organization deploys resources globally to effectively manage third party spend through a structured, strategic approach to procurement with the aim of delivering and sustaining value creation. This global strategic sourcing role will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of innovative global category and sourcing strategies for the corporate services categories as well as reporting, analysis and coordination for overall sourcing activities. Sourcing projects will be in the general areas of, but not limited to marketing, human resources, corporate social responsibility, and security. This role will work collaboratively with internal business clients as well as the supply base. This role reports to the Director – Global Strategic Sourcing.

What does a successful Strategic Sourcing Analyst do?

Lead strategy and negotiations for sourcing projects

Lead reporting requirements for purchasing activities.

Conduct ad-hoc analysis on an as-needed basis

Drive the development of category strategies within the broader context of the overall technology and sourcing strategies.

Build and nurture collaborative relationships with key internal business partners.

Build and grow ethical, transparent, and partnership-oriented relationships with external suppliers.

Manage and maintain accurate project pipeline.

What you will do:

This role is expected to work in a global, collaborative environment within multiple levels of the organization as well as with external suppliers. This contributor must be self-directed demonstrating analytical ability, innate curiosity, and a strong sense of urgency.

What you will need to have:

Previous years of related experience and / or a uni degree in relevant discipline

Strong attention to detail, project management skills, ability to priorities'.

Proven experience leading and managing multiple projects and activities simultaneously and use strong analytical skills with ability to manage complex categories with minimal supervision.

Innovative, creative thinker with a proactive thought process who can manage complex negotiations with the ability to work under pressure with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.

Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
