Junior Public Procurement Consultant

Due to increased workload and securing of new clients, Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Junior Consultant providing Procurement and Contract Services in Ireland.
Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes:-
- Support the development procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate risk;
- Support the development tender and contract documentation, and
- Support effectively managing the end-to-end procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Develop your skill set and knowledge by working with an outstanding team of specialist consultants;
- Gain experience in the procurement of major infrastructure projects and programmes across a variety of sectors including energy, transport, water and real estate;
- Drive real change by supporting clients in realising their sustainability ambitions; and
- Challenge themselves in a market-leading global business.
The duties of this role include:
- Providing procurement support to public and private sector clients;
- Drafting tender documents (PQQ, ITT/ITN);
- Administering the tender process including co-ordinating meetings and clarification responses; and
- Supporting the senior team members in end-to-end management of the procurement process.
Qualifications
- 1 – 5 years relevant experience in the procurement of rail projects or similar scale.
- Preferably possess degree related to engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement and/or be MCIPS.
