Sponsorship & Partnerships Executive - Fixed Term Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Sponsorship & Partnerships Executive to join the HRI Racecourses team on a fixed-term basis.
This role will focus on developing and managing commercial Sponsorships & Partnerships within HRI Racecourses Commercial Department. The person will work with HRI Racecourses Commercial Manager and in conjunction with the Managers of each of the four HRI Racecourses acquiring, activating and optimising commercial partnerships at group and racecourse level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Racecourse & Commercial teams to maintain and develop high quality, commercially successful sponsorship and partnership models.
- Build and maintain strong external relationships with existing and potential sponsors, corporate partners, and supporters, through securing and leading business meetings and maintaining strong relationships
- Advocate and drive delivery of the HRI Racecourses Commercial Strategy internally and externally
- Develop and manage activation plans for new and relevant existing commercial partners in tandem with relevant internal stakeholders including post event reporting.
- Cultivate and foster a strong positive working relationship with the HRI Racecourse Managers, racecourse teams and relevant wider HRI team to ensure optimal delivery of partnerships and to ensure alignment of activities with wider business objectives
- Pursue, track and strive to achieve commercial targets in relation to sponsorship and partnerships.
- Raceday duties, primarily management of sponsors and ensuring their requirements and activations are met during a raceday where required.
- Manage relationships with third party suppliers, supervise brand activations and events on-site to ensure partner expectations are met and exceeded
- Support reviews of sponsorship arrangements and undertake any follow-up actions
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sponsorship, brand activations, marketing or event management
- Involvement in a customer facing role with excellent organisational ability and a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- A knowledge of the racing industry is advantageous
- A dependable team player with proven ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative while coordinating activities within a team environment.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will need to have their own transport and be able and willing to travel to all HRI Racecourse locations among other venues.
