Job Description

The Senior Treasury Analyst will act as an expert on settlement, cash pooling, project management and reporting. The main tasks include;

Execution and monitoring of treasury back office and middle office function. Control of Treasury settlements and confirmation processing, plus query resolution. Manage the settlements, payments on behalf of cash pool structures Manage the input and processing of treasury transactions into the treasury management system. Manage projects in relation to treasury, such as cash pooling migration, netting, and settlement and reporting. Assist with treasury management reporting. This includes monthly treasury reports for senior management, working with the business units globally on cash reporting and analysis, plus ad-hoc projects and support to the International Treasurer, Operations. Maintain, review and implement business risk controls. Maintenance, administration and development of the Treasury Management System, to improve efficiency, maintain control, and enable better visibility of treasury transactions. Assist in the management accounting, internal and external audit queries.

Qualifications

Bachelors and/or master’s degree in Banking, International Trade, Accounting, or Financial Management (required); complemented by a formal treasury/accounting qualification ACT/ACCA (desired) A minimum of 6 years relevant experience in Treasury Operations / Treasury Back Office gained with a multinational treasury Excellent analytical, reporting and spreadsheet skills and thorough knowledge and skill in analysing and interpreting financial reports, business periodicals, technical procedures and government regulations. Understanding of treasury instruments, procedures and dealing practices. Good treasury accounting and financial accounting experience. Experience of corporate accounting and treasury management systems (ideally Sunguard/Quantum). Ability to work within fixed and short time-frames, especially for dealing and settlement. A proven team player with excellent communication skills Completely literate in English language and ideally one or more foreign language skills Must have required working visa to work in Dublin, Ireland
