Your Role

Lead the onsite residence staff at EF Dublin this summer, enhancing your leadership skills and guiding groups from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable. If you thrive in a sociable, fun, yet challenging environment, we want to hear from you. As a Residence Manager, you'll create amazing memories, manage an international team, and hone organizational and communication skills. The role runs from May/June through to August 2024, on a fixed term contract and with permanent opportunities available afterwards.

Responsibilities

Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students. A live-in position that sees you having the overall responsibility for a hotel/residence and the students/staff who are staying there Support a team of international leaders to ensure our students have a home away from home experience You will take care of room allocation, supervise a team of leaders and ensure the hotel staff work in harmony with your team You will liaise with residence owners and staff on anything from cleaning to theme events and safety

Requirements

A flexible approach to hours of work undertaken is essential Experience of managing or leading a team desirable Highly motivated, energetic, positive Customer service orientated, friendly & approachable manner Able to remain calm under pressure & to diffuse potentially difficult situations Sensitive to needs of international students living away from home Excellent communicator with students, colleagues, and external clients Attention to detail, organized & thorough Clear background check and two references Right to work in Ireland
