We are Irish owned and operate over 130 stores across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Spain, as well as a growing online store. We are expanding our service and product offering for our customers all the time. 

We currently have a vacancy for a Store Demand Analyst to join our Store Replenishment Team based in our Head Office in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team which is a critical part of the transformation of our business.

This team plays a considerable role in the growth of the centralized ordering function as it rolls out to a wider range of fresh food product groups. This team is at the heart of our grocery business and they ensure all our fresh food products are on the shelves for our customers as and when they need them.


As a Store Demand Analyst for Dunnes Stores you will have the following responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

Review daily sales (fresh food) & forecast demand for each store Analyze sales & stock availability figures to determine where sales are out of line with forecast - ensuring the appropriate actions to take to maximize availability Produce accurate sales forecasts for each store by product and by day using all available information Update & adjust sales forecasts to incorporate seasonality, promotional activity and other factors effecting demand Place orders with suppliers to meet the future demand requirement for each product, based on sales forecasts and current stock levels Produce accurate & timely store allocations for each product Liaising & communicating with Store Management, Buying Departments and Suppliers

Energetic team player who is results driven and passionate about always doing their best Excellent analytical skills (in particular working knowledge of Excel) Proven numeracy skills Strong inter-personal & communication skills Enjoys working in a fast paced environment to ensure deadlines are met Ideally you will have experience in a retail environment, so that you have a good understanding of store operations and ordering Passion for fresh food
