The Bartender will report to the Bar Manager to deliver exceptional friendly service at all times to every guest in line with the Talbot Collection 'Empower Your Excellence' customer service program.

Overall Job Purpose:
Provide a friendly and efficient service within the bar, dispensing orders accurately and with courtesy to the standards required by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, and serving drinks efficiently.
- Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature creations, and other drinks as per the bar menu.
- Coffee Making: Expertly prepare a range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty coffee drinks.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of all bar products, including spirits, wines, beers, cocktails, and coffee. Offer recommendations and upsell when appropriate.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. This includes maintaining hygiene standards, washing glassware, and restocking supplies.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process cash and card transactions using the POS system, manage tabs, and handle any discrepancies responsibly.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and age verification policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with bar staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation and exceptional guest experiences.
- Event Participation: Assist in the planning and execution of special events, promotions, and themed nights as required.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume Hotel bar or restaurant.
- Mixology and Coffee Skills: Proficiency in preparing a wide range of cocktails, drinks, and coffee beverages, with a passion for mixology and creativity in developing new drinks.
- Customer-Focused: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Communication: Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, especially in drink preparation and presentation.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented, busy environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
