Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards at our client's busy food manufacturing site in Kildare. The successful candidate will manage a small team within the EHS department and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enforce all EHS standards across the site. Lead and manage a team of 2 within the EHS department. Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to industry regulations. Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to enhance safety and environmental performance. Provide training and guidance to staff on EHS best practices. Investigate and report on any incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all site activities comply with legal requirements. Prepare and present EHS performance reports to senior management. Continuously improve EHS practices through proactive risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in leading EHS departments within a busy manufacturing environment, ideally within the food industry Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards Experience in conducting and leading EHS audits Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Relevant EHS qualification or certification
