Job Objectives

The purpose of the role is to deliver continuous learning and development to individuals who choose to attend our CLaD Hubs. To facilitate access to and support throughout our skills-based training programmes and community-based life experiences. To support team members, developing their knowledge, so they in turn can continue to support the individuals they support, to learn and develop their competencies outside of the CLaD Hubs.

The post holder will contribute to overall day to day management of the team members of the CLaD Hubs ensuring the highest level of quality services is always delivered to Individuals.

This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:

Live our Mission, Vision, and Values.  Support people who use the service. Identifying Restorations projects available for the CLaD Hub. Work with Individuals to develop end to end restoration projects. Support the Individual during the rebuilding process. Identify repairs required and work with the Individual to complete these. Guide the Individual though the repainting tasks until achieved to a high standard. Ensure retrimming of tyres is completed within safety guidelines. Plan and organize the display of Restoration projects to highlight their restoration journey. Maintain and upkeep CLaD projects. Ensure all safety policies are adhered to. Promote learning and education in general for Individuals using the Hub. Work closely with CLaD Facilitator to keep the projects running smoothly. Support and promote maximum opportunities for community involvement for people who use the service. Follow all RASOPs (Risk Assessments) that are in place in the CLaD Hub.

Skills Requirement

Knowledge:

Knowledge of social care or a health-related sector desirable but not essential.

Experience:

Prior experience in a similar role. Experience of working with individuals with an intellectual disability or Mental Health.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills. Proficient in written communitcaion such as report writing. Highly organised with a strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills. Full clean driving licence.
