Rockwell are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our IT function and ensure the delivery of high-quality support services to internal stakeholders. This role will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting the unique needs of our business, and driving technological innovation to enhance operational efficiency. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Leadership & Strategy: Manage the IT department to deliver exceptional service aligned with business needs and industry best practices. Design and implement an IT strategy and policies that support the company's goals and growth plans.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, security, and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of growth and professional development.
- Cybersecurity: Monitor and mitigate potential security threats, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Technical Support: Provide prompt technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues effectively.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and oversee the IT budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and responsibly.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data systems, including document management and financial software integration.
- Technology Advancement: Stay informed about emerging technologies that could benefit the organization and drive their adoption where appropriate.
- System Integration: Facilitate the seamless integration of new systems with existing platforms.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, maintaining robust data backups.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:
- Degree in relevant Technology &/or Computer Science discipline with detailed understanding of technologies, applications, databases and architectures
- 10+ years Strategic Technology experience implementing, supporting, enhancing and managing IT applications (ERP, CRM), software and hardware
- Interest in "hands on" use of systems with ability to test, audit and suggest the improvements, enhancements, integrations required to use as planned
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
