Grade: Business Consultant

Contract type: 12-month fixed term contract

A snapshot of your peer group:

Relevant third level degree in finance or related field - Finance, Business or AccountingRelevant certifications (ACCA, ACA or part-qualified, CPA / CFA)Minimum of 1 - 3 years' work experience in a related field Outstanding communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and meet deadlinesHigh-level proficiency in ExcelExperience with financial reporting (in line with IFRS / US GAAP requirements)Previous experience in Fund Accounting or Fund Services would be an advantage

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:

Obtain raw client data and follow processes using technology to cleanse, map and format as requiredManage the production and review of financial statements, ensuring relevant accounting and reporting requirements are metDocument thorough review of accounts and completion of relevant checklistsLiaise and assist with audit queries on annual and semi-annual financial accountsLiaise directly with our clients, ensuring a consistently high quality serviceAssist with training / mentoring of new staff

Your team:

You will be joining KPMG's Managed Solutions & Services team, we have extensive capability in financial services, working with many of the world's leading financial institutions and bringing deep sector insights to our clients.
