IT Manager - Enterprise Platforms

We're looking for an IT Manager with experience overseeing an international team and managing both backend and frontend aspects of enterprise-grade platforms across three regions to join our team in Stuttgart or Dublin. Hybrid position.

You will report to the Senior Director, Information Technology.

You will oversee an international team, managing both backend and frontend aspects of enterprise-grade platforms across three regions.

Your Role Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage a cross-regional team, ensuring cohesive operation and effective collaboration. Platform Management: Oversee the lifecycle of enterprise platforms, including application updates, vulnerability management, and frontend modifications such as in-app changes and intake management. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and user groups, providing advisory and recommendations on product use and enhancements. IT Service Management: Utilize strong knowledge in ITSM frameworks to oversee incident, problem, change, and knowledge management processes. Toolset Expertise: Drive the use of the Atlassian Data Center Toolset within the organization, leveraging its capabilities to enhance business operations. Agile Practices: Continue the integration of agile practices within departments and teams, promoting innovative approaches to enhance platform efficiency and user satisfaction. Cloud Migration: Lead the strategic transition from on-premise solutions to cloud-based platforms, collaborating with vendors and supporting business units in alignment with long-term goals. Automation Initiatives: Champion automation initiatives to streamline platform maintenance and application management, ensuring scalability and reliability while reducing manual effort.

What We'd Like to See

(Proven experience managing international IT teams and enterprise platforms. Strong understanding of backend and frontend management of enterprise platforms and applications. Extensive knowledge of ITSM processes and practical experience in incident, problem, change, and knowledge management. Familiarity with the Atlassian Data Center Toolset and its application in a large-scale enterprise environment. Including Jira, Confluence and Fisheye Demonstrated ability to implement agile methodologies and lead organizational change. Experience with cloud technologies and managing vendor relationships. Relevant certifications in ITIL, Agile, or Cloud Technologies BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience Manages operational responsibilities of staff or individual contributors
