As the Inventory Planner / Stock Controller, you will manage the full spectrum of products from our client's suppliers. You will assess current demand levels, supplier delivery schedules, minimum order quantities, lead times, and stock budgets.

Your primary goal in this role is to optimize stock availability while maintaining efficient stockholding levels. You will ensure that stock levels meet or exceed availability targets, supporting the overall business objectives.

Key duties include:

Managing the inflow of orders and coordinating with purchasing teams to forecast supply and demand. Establishing replenishment parameters with suppliers, considering factors like lead times, minimum order quantities, and forecasting. Monitoring factors influencing demand, such as promotions, seasonal changes, and new product introductions. Ensuring on-time and complete deliveries by collaborating with suppliers and carriers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to maximize service levels, tracking and reporting supplier performance. Coordinating with site managers for intercompany stock movements between branches. Working closely with operations and goods-in teams to maintain an efficient supply chain. Regularly updating master data and conducting inventory audits. Compiling daily KPI reports and efficiently addressing inventory discrepancies.

Essential Requirements:

A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in Inventory Planning or Stock Control. Proven ability to work as part of a team with a focus on action, persistence, and results. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of inventory management, from order placement to stock reconciliation. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to convey and interpret information accurately. Flexibility and willingness to contribute actively to a busy team. Hardworking, resilient, conscientious, and self-motivated. A proactive "Can Do" attitude, with comfort in constructively challenging and being challenged. Willingness to travel across multiple sites in NI, ROI, and the UK. A full, clean driving license.

Desirable Requirements:

Strong negotiation skills with a well-developed influencing style. In-depth understanding of inventory performance KPIs and professional supplier management. CIPS qualification.
