Key Purpose of the role:


As a graduate engineer at Tate Europe, you'll be involved in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions for data centre infrastructure. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals to tackle real-world engineering challenges and contribute to projects that drive technological advancements in the industry. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of Tate's offerings, ensuring they remain at the forefront of innovation. We have opportunities within design, research and development and our projects team.

 

About Tate:

We have expanded our manufacturing footprint across the US, Europe, Canada, Australia and are excited to add a new 275,000 sq ft manufacturing site in St Paul's Virginia, additional 4,000 sq ft of manufacturing at our site in Belgium in Q1 2024 alone. As a member of the Kingspan Data & Flooring Division, the business is responsible for delivering $400m global annual revenue of which, our new Virginia site will contribute in excess of $200m after just 12 months in operation, specifically for our Cloud customers.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with diverse teams to support ambitious growth plans and innovation initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Participate in talent management activities including workforce planning, recruitment, and succession planning.
  • Support performance management processes and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.
  • Identify learning and development needs and facilitate appropriate training programs.

 

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing/Design, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
