Accounts Assistant

Our client, a reward winning healthcare company is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the completion of day to day finance and accounting activities to support the business operations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable, Receivable and Financial Administration
- Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Assisting with month end reporting, preparation of annual and internal audit files and annual budget process
- Managing the prepaid expenses
- Assisting with the accruals
- Assisting with the bank reconciliation
- Assisting with the Fixed asset register
- Assist with general accounting and finance queries
- Assist with external audit queries
- Support finance related projects
- Provide office administration support to the business as required
Education and Experience
Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role accounts assistant / bookkeeper position
- Degree qualification in finance or business administration
- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications and complex excel formulae
Essential Skills and Core Competencies
- Strong organization skills. Proven planning, scheduling skills with the ability to work to and achieve strict deadlines
- Strong Attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to work on own initiative
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, quick learner and independent worker able to effectively multi-task and follow issues through to conclusion
