The Senior Director Production Planning and Quality Process is a critical operations leadership role that will be located in Dublin Ireland and will help drive strong collaboration across an end-to-end leadership team. Responsibilities for this role include leadership of multiple functions including forecasting, planning, program execution, quality outcomes and driving program-enhancing initiatives across a suite of services in our Clinical Solutions business. Service lines include risk adjustment coding, clinical quality, member engagement and other services offered to health plans and providers. This role would have designated programs, functions and portions of the client portfolio assigned as core accountability.

Primary responsibilities:
• Develop, translate and execute strategies to achieve operational objectives.
• Create short and long-term workforce strategies to support business growth and revenue targets.
• Leadership of service delivery execution of end-to-end operational process on behalf of many clients across Medicare Advantage and ACA.
• Drive transformation initiatives to improve completeness, accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure teams manage to service level agreements, performance guarantees.
Additional responsibilities:
• Operations Process:
o Oversight of policies, procedures, and guidelines for management of team processes
o Partner in development of operations business objectives and targets
o Lead support and implementation for new client business or new operations processes
o Intervene in resolution of escalated client or employee issues as necessary
o Accountable for creation and ownership of business continuity plan to minimize interruptions to the business
o Develop and communicate team performance metrics and expectations
o Direct and oversee data collection and measurement of outcomes (quality program)
o Apply metrics to evaluate services, employee performance, and program outcomes
o Identify causes of performance deficiencies and determine appropriate follow up actions
o Drive implementation of best practices and standards
• Compliance of Operations Programs and Services
o Ensures compliance evaluation with regulatory or organizational guidelines, accreditation standards, and contractual requirements
o Oversee ongoing monitoring and internal auditing against relevant guidelines and standards
o Lead process improvement activities to address areas of non-compliance or ensure procedures are followed
o Measure employee performance against internal procedures and protocols
o Ensure team members address gaps in performance against internal procedures and protocols
• Financial Viability
o Develop operational budgets for operations
o Evaluate staffing ratios, overtime, contractor or vendor usage to effectively manage labor expenses
o Read financial reports, identify reasons for financial performance gaps, and identify opportunities for improved financial performance and enhanced return on investment
o Collect and review data to evaluate financial outcomes of programs and services
o Conduct cost/benefit analysis on programs to drive efficiencies
o Propose and obtain approval for capital expenditures for operations
• Staff Oversight and Development
o Leverage business acumen to provide guidance to staff
o Develop systems for staff to navigate and perform functions (e.g., find resources, answers questions)
o Develop/oversee/deliver operational or technical training
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proven previous experience leading large operations teams in a heavily matrixed environment which requires the ability to influence and hold accountable without direct oversight
• Ability to travel 10%, domestic and international
Preferred Qualifications:
• Healthcare industry operations experience
• Risk Adjustment subject matter expertise
• Experience owning policies, procedures, and guidelines for management of operations
• Experience in building successful teams and leading global remote/virtual teams
