Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. We are responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. Furthermore, we support the Operations team that manages and runs the cloud assets. We are looking to fill a critical role of Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Construction Claims Manager on our Supply Chain team to support the delivery of our program of build projects in EMEA.

Qualifications
Delivery Experience:
- Minimum 10 years deep Construction Execution Experience in Construction Contracts Management is an absolute requirement for this role. Directly leading the contracts administration of large scale contracts in excess of $100M in Hyperscale DC project delivery or other mission critical sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of construction contract forms utilized across EMEA, experience in multiple industry standard forms and the modifications typically applied across the industry. FIDIC experience is preferred.
- Experience in leading claims resolutions on multiple projects including experience in formal dispute resolution procedures such as mediation, conciliation and arbitration. A professional accreditation in construction claims management such as CIArb would be a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills, ability to lead a cross functional team in the development of negotiation plans to drive positive outputs.
- Strong Program Management experience and skills for tracking and remediating contractual risk through a globally standardized process applied across the EMEA portfolio.

Travel:
Be able to travel from 25 - 50%, generally within EMEA region.
