No matter where you work in the Maples Group, you will be part of a global team.         The Opportunity / Who We Seek    We are looking for an accomplished Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal team as part of our business in Dublin.         As part of the global expansion of the Maples Group’s financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in 2006. Located in the city centre, a commitment to service excellence and investment in our people quickly established Dublin as a regional hub where our 200+ teammates deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide alongside our colleagues in legal services.         About the Role    The Senior Legal Counsel reports into the Assistant General Counsel in Dublin (the "AGC") and in their absence reports into the MaplesFS General Counsel (the "GC").        Primary responsibilities include:          Ensure prompt drafting of all client documentsOversee the review of all client comments to documents and ensure prompt response to clients including production of revised draftsLead/oversee negotiations with clients regarding documentationDraft bespoke agreements, including multi-entity agreements and multi-service agreementsDraft precedents for new service offeringsOversee updates of existing precedentsConsult with CSPs throughout the documentation and negotiation process to ensure client relationship is being properly managedOversee drafting of and updates to MaplesFS internal service agreements and delegation agreementsReview and negotiate third party vendor agreements entered into by the MaplesFS GroupReview D&O insurance policies covering directors provided by MaplesFS to ensure sufficient coverage and termsConduct legal research regarding new developments and regulatory issues; stay appraised of regulatory developmentsPerform additional functions as required by the GC or AGC     What You Bring    In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:    Similar experience in current/previous roleInvestment Funds experience would be an advantageExcellent written and communication skillsSelf-starter     Benefits & Rewards    The most enduring professional relationships are reciprocal relationships.
