As a Lead Software Engineer (Software Delivery Manger) at JP Morgan Chase, within Global Shares, you will be a key part of our rapid expansion plan. We are seeking a Release Manager to plan, execute, improve and report on the status of our software releases. You will be part of the Software Delivery Management team and co-ordinate the software releases for a number of Scrum teams.
Job responsibilities
Utilise previous experience in software release management to carry out the following responsibilities: Coordinate the planning, scheduling, execution, risk management and status reporting of Global Shares software releases Foster a collaborative environment in which you will work closely with software development and QA teams to ensure quality software releases are deployed as per the predefined schedule Manage daily release management monitoring tasks such as testing progression, bug resolution, scope monitoring, release status health and risk management Manage all release management ceremonies such as the Release Go/No-Go, Release Retrospective Focus on continuous improvement within the Global Shares release management process Provide high quality advice, guidance and support to all release management stakeholders Maintain quality documentation related to the Global Shares release management process Generate Software Delivery statistics and reporting
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Degree level education or equivalent with excellent communication skills Proven experience as a Release Manager in an Agile environment, with experience Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles Possess s trong leadership, organisational and influencing skills Have a positive, can-do attitude, with a natural ability for working with all personality types Knowledge of JIRA is essential. Knowledge of Confluence, OnTrack, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Testrail is also an advantage
